Positive Psychology for life

Organisational wellbeing and people development
Workplace development designed around your people and pressures
Choose a focused session, applied workshop, learning series or longer programme. PPFL helps leaders, teams and staff build practical skills they can use in real conversations, decisions and high-pressure moments.
In person or virtual. Content is adapted to sector, seniority, organisational language and existing support.
Start with the change you need
A programme should begin with the challenge, not a catalogue of topics. PPFL works with you to identify the people involved, the situations that are difficult and the change that would be useful and realistic.
-
Managers need more confidence in feedback, wellbeing conversations or difficult decisions.
-
Teams need clearer communication, greater trust or safer ways to raise concerns.
-
Staff need practical ways to manage pressure, boundaries and recovery.
-
The organisation is navigating change, uncertainty or sustained demand.
-
A wellbeing initiative needs to connect more closely with everyday work.
Leadership and manager development
For leaders responsible for both results and people under pressure.
-
Emotional intelligence in practice

What this can support
Programmes can strengthen leaders' confidence in people conversations, improve shared language around pressure and support more consistent leadership behaviours. Specific outcomes and measures are agreed before delivery.
Team culture and psychological safety
For teams that need greater trust, clearer expectations and better ways to work through challenge.
-
Speaking up, learning and interpersonal risk
-
Trust, communication and feedback

Strengths-based collaboration
-
Motivation, hope and shared efficacy
What psychological safety means here
Psychological safety does not mean constant comfort, agreement or freedom from standards. It concerns whether people can ask questions, raise concerns, admit mistakes and offer ideas without unreasonable interpersonal risk. PPFL pairs this with accountability, role clarity and constructive challenge.
Workplace wellbeing and sustainable performance
For organisations that want practical wellbeing support without placing the full responsibility for workplace pressure on individuals.
-
Stress and anxiety literacy
-
Burnout risk, warning signs and early action
-
Emotional regulation under pressure
-
Boundaries, recovery and work-life integration
-
Self-compassion and perfectionism
-
Practical self-management during change
A multi-level approach
Individual skills matter, but they are only one part of workplace wellbeing. PPFL also helps managers strengthen supportive conversations and encourages organisations to consider the conditions, expectations and ways of working that influence psychological health.
DBT-informed skills education
Where appropriate, PPFL can introduce selected skills informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. In a workplace setting, these are taught as general psychoeducational skills for everyday pressure and communication. Participants are not assessed, diagnosed or treated, and the service is not presented as DBT or as a substitute for therapy.
